CHERRY ICE LOLLIES
SUITABLE FROM 7 – 8 MONTHS
MAKES 6 LOLLIES / PREPARE 15 MINS / FREEZE 1 HOUR
250g Greek yogurt
2 tbsp Maple syrup (optional)
Pit the cherries and put them (reserving 12 to decorate) in the Beaba Babycook ® steamer basket and steam with water to level 2.
Once steamed, put the cherries in the jar of the Beaba Babycook ® and process until you have a smooth purée.
In a bowl mix the yogurt and syrup if using, then add the cherry purée and incorporate using a fork to obtain a swirl effect.
Half-fill the cups of your Beaba Multiportion ® with the yogurt mix and push a pitted cherry in the middle, then cover with the rest of the yogurt mix and smooth the top with a wet knife. Pop the rest of the pitted cherry on lolly sticks and them in the middle of each yogurt cup.
Freeze until solid.

Cherries also contain good levels of fibre, vitamin C and potassium. Additionally, cherries are high in anthocyanin glycosides another powerful antioxidant.
