This tasty purée is a wonderful way of getting white fish into your little ones with the added benefit of being filled with vitamin B12 and iodine which are some of the essential nutrients for brain development and immune system support. This recipe also doesn’t hold back on flavour, so give it a try I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.
20g Leeks sliced
45g Fennel peeled and diced.
20g White Fish -cod, pollock, red mullet – boned and skinned.
1 ½ Teaspoons Olive Oil
1 ½ Sprigs of parsley
15 ml Water / Cooking juices
Wash, peel and cut up your leeks and fennel and quarter your tomatoes.
Cut up your white fish into small pieces ensuring all the bones are removed.
Place the leeks, fennel, and fish into your Béaba Babycook® steamer basket.
Pour water into the tank (level 3 for Original, Solo, Duo and Neo), (Solo Express; Eco Mode 170ml).
Start the steaming cycle.
After cooking, reserve the cooking juices for later.
Transfer the cooked fish, fennel, and leeks into the Babycook® bowl.
Add the olive oil and parsley into the bowl with a small amount (15ml) of the cooking juices and blend. Add more cooking juices if needed to reach required consistency.
Transfer to a bowl and serve.
