With the beautiful Autumn colours come the tasty Autumn veg and what better way to taste it than with our Root Veggie Medley. Let baby enjoy the delicious, nutrient rich flavors of carrots, sweet potato, beetroot and parsnips made in your Beaba Babycook and you can bet it will leave them wanting more, more, more!
Adjust blending time to give coarser texture for older Babies or add additional liquid to make into a lovely soup.
INGREDIENTS
75g (1/2 Cup) of Carrots
150g (1 Cup) of Sweet Potato (Yams)
80g (1 Cup) of Parnsips
150g (1 Cup) of Golden Beetroot (Beets)
1 TSP of Thyme
1 TSP of Olive Oil
INSTRUCTIONS
Put the sweet potato, carrots, parsnip and beetroot in the steamer basket.
Pour water into the tank (level 3).
When the yam, carrots, parsnip and beetroot are cooked, put them in the blending bowl, reserving the cooking liquid.
Add the thyme and olive oil.
Pulse blend, adding some of the cooking liquid to bring the puree to the desired consistency.
