SAVORY IRISH PANCAKES
SUITABLE FROM 13 MONTHS
SERVES 2 / PREPARE 15 MINS / COOK 18 MINS
70g Spinach
60g flour
1 egg
160ml skimmed milk
1 teaspoon sesame oil
30g goats cheese
INSTRUCTIONS
Place the spinach in the steamer basket
Fill the tank up to level 2 with water and start the cooking cycle
Discard the excess water and pour the content of the basket into the blending bowl
Add the sesame oil and goats cheese to the blending bowl
Blend the bowl content and set aside when finished
Wash the blending bowl
Add the egg and flour to the blending bowl with some of the milk and mix. Add more milk in small amounts until slightly thick liquid consistency
Heat a non-stick frying pan 20cm in diameter and add a few drops of sunflower oil. Cook your pancake over a low heat
When the pancake is cooked, put the goat’s cheese, spinach and sesame oil mixture on it. Roll it and then cut it into small pieces to have the green and white alternating for a pretty effect
