TOFFEE APPLE PARKIN
This ultimate Autumn treat is perfect for Bonfire night. Moist and sticky with a hint of ginger and apple, a well-loved favourite for all the family.
SUITABLE FROM 12 MONTHS
MAKES 6 x 90ml portions/ PREPARE 10 mins / COOK 65 minutes
100g golden syrup
40g soft brown sugar
125g self-raising flour
1 tbsp ground ginger
3 tbsp milk
1 apple, peeled and finely diced
Preheat your oven to 160C.
Place the butter, syrup, treacle and sugar in your Béaba Babycook® Pasta/Rice Cooker and steam (level 1 for Original, Solo, Duo and Neo), (Solo Express; Express Mode 90ml). Alternatively, melt in a pan on the hob.
Place the egg, oatmeal, flour, ginger, milk and apple into your Babycook® mixing bowl.
Pour the melted treacle mixture into the bowl and pulse until mixed. Remember to use your Babycook® splash lid.
Pour the mixture evenly into your pre-greased Béaba Multiportions
Pop into the oven for 50-60 minutes until cooked through.
